St. Patrick’s Day Printables

3.04.2015

Free St. Patrick's Day Printables Eat Drink and Be IrishYup, I did it. I jumped right on the same train that everyone else is aboard. I didn’t want to be left behind. All my fellow DIY/craft bloggers do printables for holidays, and I didn’t want to be the only one left out of the club. Especially since it’s the cool kids club.

I was always trying to get invited into the cool kids club, so while I waited, I had to live vicariously through my best friend/Homecoming Queen/girl all the cool guys wanted to date.  In seventh grade (btw…she is going to roll her eyes reading this), my first ever boyfriend bought me roses for my birthday. I was finally coming out of the dorky, uni-brow/buck teeth stage, and finding my own in the “cool kids wear oversized Nike shirts and basketball shorts” stage. Clearly he thought I was adorable. We hadn’t even shared my our first kiss yet.

And we never would. St. Patricks Day free printables, LuckyRemember the much simpler world of three way calling? Yeah…I’m trying to forget it too. It forever ruined my life. Or just the end of seventh grade. Needless to say, my first ever boyfriend made a startling confession to my beautiful, yet-to-be Homecoming Queen of a BFF that he wanted to date her, not me. Looking back on the photos, I am not surprised. I definitely had a little of my own to grow into. And eyebrows that needed plucking (seriously mom, you couldn’t have given a girl a heads up?).

The good news is that he was just one guy in a short list of bad boyfriends that would disappoint me. If I hadn’t gone through all of those times, I might not appreciate my husband as much as I do.

And I really do. Especially when he does all the laundry. Feeling LuckySo please join my new “cool kids” club, so I don’t feel that uncool. I promise I pluck my eyebrows now, and I grew into my teeth a little. And for the record: my beautiful, Homecoming Queen of a BFF is still my BHQBFF, and always will be. She’s definitely invited to the club.

If, for some odd reason, you’re actually interested in the prints, you can print them here.

    Dear MBEBFF,
While I LOVE your printables, I must chime in to confirm a slight eye roll for the story. You are the Most Beautiful Ever! So while a 7th grade boy may have thought that my unibrow and oversized eyeglasses look was something to be adored, I can assure you that you were FAR cutier. Arizona and Florida pictures prove it … You know what I’m talking about!

In honor of this blog, I must confess that I am lucky one to have the Most Beautiful Ever BFF … And more importantly, the best person in the world who knows exactly how to make me smile across states. It’s like a telepathy, or something. How does she do that so perfectly?!?

You continue to inspire and amaze me!
    – your BFF 😉

Those are really cute! I love them.

I hated that three-way calling! My “best friend” used to insist we called the boy I had a crush on because I was too shy to do it on my own, and of course SHE was the one who ended up dating him. It lasted about a minute, since she was only interested in him because I was, but it didn’t make for a good time.

I’d rather have a cute St. Patrick’s Day printable, that’s for sure.

I guess it makes us old to know about three way calling, but back then it was the hot new thing. Kids these days probably roll their eyes at us. 😉

Even with the bathroom trips. 🤣 Listen. Social me Even with the bathroom trips. 🤣

Listen. Social media tends to make traveling with children look glamorous, and the truth is, it usually isn’t. Are some kids professional travelers? Of course. But reality is that there’s always pitfalls and unexpected turbulence that you just have to mentally prepare for before you travel. And in the end? I promise you, it’s worth all the hassle.

Why yes, I do. 🤣🤣🤣

One of my favorite things we get to give our girls One of my favorite things we get to give our girls is perspective. To see new places. To meet different people. To experience cultures outside of their own.

Not so they grow up thinking one place is “better” than another — but so they grow up curious, grateful, and grounded. And the more of the world we see, the more thankful I become for home, for the freedoms we have, and for the life we get to build together.

I might be the world’s worst “influencer,” because I might be the world’s worst “influencer,” because I’m here to tell you this: you do not need a whole new wardrobe for vacation.

Social media makes it feel like every trip requires new outfits, a new summer closet, a new date-night dress…but honestly? It doesn’t.

I’m willing to bet you already have plenty of great options hanging in your closet. And instead of spending a bunch of money on clothes you’ll probably only wear once, maybe it’s enough to just wear what you already love.
One day, instead of hearing little feet running th One day, instead of hearing little feet running through the house all day, I’ll be leaving voicemails hoping they call me back when they have time.

The sticky fingerprints will wash away, the car seats will come out, bedtime routines will end, and the house that once felt so loud will get quieter little by little.

It’s strange how the things that exhaust you in the moment become the very things you ache for later. 🤍
When did it become expected to spend hundreds of d When did it become expected to spend hundreds of dollars on Teacher Appreciation gifts? Don’t get me wrong, if it were in the budget you better believe it’s worth it. I am not advocating for giving them LESS, I’m just advocating for staying within your families budget. And maybe if we see more of these easy little inexpensive gifts, we can make it more acceptable to gift within budget. Because that’s what it’s all about.

What’s that saying? It’s the thought that counts.
I’ve been seeing so many reels lately saying that I’ve been seeing so many reels lately saying that Mother’s Day is only for moms with small children. I couldn’t disagree more. To me, Mother’s Day is not just about me. It’s about the women who helped shape me, as a mother, a woman, a friend. It’s about my friends who help me be a better mother, even if they don’t have little kids themselves. It’s about my own mother, who is the biggest inspiration for me, to be a better mother myself. It’s about the many generations before me that allowed me to be a mother at all. It’s about every woman in my life that loves me and my girls as if they’re their own. That’s who I’ll be celebrating this Mother’s Day.

Just being met where you are. That kind of friendship changes you.
